Having worked in the creative industry for over 15 years, I have gained an excellent knowledge in all areas of print and digital design, both in house and for one of Scotland’s leading advertising agencies. From beginning my career as a junior designer and progressing to senior digital designer, I have encountered and worked through many challenges within the design and development of various projects. This has granted me invaluable experience, enabling me to guide and develop team members. It has also given me a passion for the industry in which I have built my career and I believe I am a solid, confident performer within the field.

I realised long ago that working in an ever evolving and competitive industry would require an equally evolving personal skill set. After starting my career as a graphic designer many years ago, I decided to take the leap into the digital world and develop the relevant skills required and have never looked back.

My acquired skills include:

Website design, website development, UX design, display advertising, email development, creative direction, advertising, graphic design and corporate identities.

Over the years I have been lucky to work with many fantastic clients on projects ranging from local to national and UK wide campaigns. These have included outdoor advertising, brand identities, brochures, print for local and national tabloids/magazines, website concepts and development, mobile applications and much more.

A selection of clients I have worked with are People’s Postcode Lottery, Scottish Government, Scottish National Blood Transfusion Service (Give Blood), Caledonian MacBrayne Ferries, Belhaven Best, NHS24, Rock Radio, University of Teeside, University of Cumbria, Strathclyde Partnership for Transport (SPT) and GPM Estate Agents.

I have been extremely fortunate to have worked with many talented people from various backgrounds throughout my career including creative directors, art directors, photographers, designers within print/digital mediums and many fantastic developers. I have also been privileged to work for many successful companies such as People’s Postcode Lottery, The Bridge Advertising, Freight Design and Gael Ltd which has given me the confidence and determination to succeed in my endeavors.

Being exposed to these fantastic minds and organisations has helped drive me to become the multi-disciplined designer I am today.
